Students interested in volunteering at Landmark Medical Center must be at least 14 years of age and students under 18 must submit a permission slip ed by a parent or guardian to participate in the program. From students to adults, our volunteers range in age from 14 to 90 and work in numerous departments throughout the hospital including: Nursing Units Lobby Greeters Medical Records Radiology Nutrition Finance Administrative Offices Emergency Department Adult Volunteer Program Adult volunteers are required to complete the following: Interview and application Background check Provide immunization documentation Provide a personal reference Attend a hospital orientation Commit to a minimum of hours a week and a minimum of 45 volunteer hours.
Summer program lasts for 7 weeks and requires a weekly commitment of at least 4 hours and total hourly commitment of 28 hours. After School program requires a weekly commitment of at least 2 hours and a total hourly commitment of 45 hours during the school year.
