Charities and causes

Sharon Stone has taken the charity to heart in 1995
when stepped in years ago as a substitute
for Elizabeth Taylor at an amfAR event.
She's now also working on other charites.

American Foundation for AIDS Research

AmfAR is one of the world's leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the support of AIDS research and prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy.
Sharon is a spokesperson for the amfAR since 1995.

Angels' Place

Angels' Place provides a loving and caring environment for children diagnosed with life-threatening illness. Additional assistance is given to the family as they emotionally struggle for understanding while the pain and exhaustive treatments continue for the dying child. Our respite/hospice atmosphere provides ease and comfort to the whole family and help preserve the family unit.

Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

NorthBeach Citizens

NorthBeach Citizens is a non-profit community-based organization founded in 2000 to address the needs of homeless and at-risk people within the NorthBeach neighborhood of San Francisco (a project spearheaded by Francis Ford Coppola).

Peres Center for Peace

The mission of the Peres Center for Peace, founded by Nobel Laureate Shimon Peres in 1996, is to build an infrastructure of peace by and for the people of the Middle-East, that promotes socio-economic development while advancing cooperation and mutual understanding.

Project Angel Food

Project Angel Food's mission is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. The Project Angel Food Program delivers free and nutritious meals prepared with love.
